FLASH: Flash navigation for Mac I.E. 5.0

My company, Still Water Interactive, is currently in post-production of

http://www.neurotrash.com, a streaming multimedia site that is intended for

users of a higher bandwidth.


We have reached an impasse concerning our Flash navigation for the site's

ecommerce section. It is an issue that seems only to concern Macintosh I.E.

browsers...well, actually, I can only say specifically Macintosh I.E. 5.0

browsers. I have not tested it on the earlier versions.


The site itself is a elegant bundle on ColdFusion and framesets and

JavaScript and Stylesheets, etc. I don't know if these points are relevant

to the problem at hand.


The problem is this:


When loading the Shopping section on a Mac I.E. 5.0 browser, our Flash

navigation appears momentarily. It follows that the rest of the page loads

normally. However, after loading, our Flash navigation vanishes. Upon

rolling over where the Flash movie just was, it reappears only in parts.


A remedy is to Crtl-Click the menu, click "Play", then the navigation

reloads and looks correct. However, once a navigation button is clicked, the

frame containing the Flash movie reloads (as it should), and we're back to

square one with the disappearing movie.


If anyone feels knowledgeable and has a few extra minutes in their day,

please venture to the site, click on one of the channels (any channel but

the Original Programming channel as there is no e-commerce in that channel),

then click on "shop".


The navigation should appear on the lefthand side and, if you're on a

Macintosh and using I.E., it will probably vanish.
