Subject: FLASH: RE: mysterious Flash pop-up window problem..please help!
From: Laura Hamilton

The valiant and wondrously talented Muzak tried to help me and I am
eternally grateful. Thank you Muzak!

Luckily, after getting away from the problem for the weekend I have just
discovered the problem with my Flash/JS pop-up windows....and it turned out
to be the stupidest thing.

For all of the buttons that *weren't* popping up windows, I had the Get URL
Action code correct, but I had the "Window" field set to "_blank", which
seemed to be the right thing to do at the time (but not now, when I've
thought about it more).

I assumed that I had set the working pop-up window action to "_blank" also,
but when I was combing through the settings for the millionth time to see if
there were any other code differences, I realized that the working button
was the only one *NOT* set to "_blank".

That explains why I got a new window with the JavaScript code inside the
location for the other buttons. The "_blank" window setting screwed
everything up. It popped up a new window all right, but with my JavaScript
action stuck inside of it!

I erased all text from the window fields in all my buttons and they now
works perfectly. Ugh, it's the little errors like this that can drive a
person absolutely insane.

Thanks again to Muzak for trying to help out! Much appreciated... I'm sure
you caught my silly error right away upon seeing my FLA.
