Subject: FLASH: Reading Variables from a page
From: William Kersnowski

First of all, two words "No Refresh"

I need to Read Variables into my Flash Movie from the
Page that it is embedded into.
Not on the "Loading" of the page (then I could just use the embed tag)

I mean for example if I had an html combo box that set the value
of variable x in the html/java Can I make the flash movie "stare" at
variable x reacting to it when it changes (i.e. create a loop that
keeps looking to variable x in the html)?

How do I look to a variable in the html page???

A Macromedia guy personally showed me an example so I know it
can be done but
don't have a copy and can't find....
