There are 4 Background color setting for Flash:
All 4 below are set for Red.
1) In the SWF file the basic background is set in Flash:
Modify > Movie > Background
2) In OBJECT in HTML PARAM sets background color
for MSIE Win 95/98/NT
<PARAM NAME="BGColor" VALUE="FF0000">
If set overrides #1
3) In EMBED PARAM sets background color for
all browsers except MSIE Win 95/98/NT
BGCOLOR="FF0000"
If set overrides #1
Number 2 and 3 are set at the same time in Aftershock.
4) Basic HTML page area outside of Flash is set in Body
<BODY BGCOLOR="#FF0000">
Normally you will want all 4 set for the same color.
