Yep... you have to use variables with 2 numbers in their names.
For example, for a 2 x 2 array, you would have something like this:

foo_1_1
foo_1_2
foo_2_1
foo_2_2

you can then reference the variables by building the name with strings and
using the eval statement...
say, for example you have the variables index1 and index2

eval("foo_"&index1"&_"&index2)

would get the value at the postion index1 x index2
