Subject: Re: FLASH: back button in browser - oops

I am wondering if it would be possible to write a javascript that says...
any time a user clicks the back button on this page... count it twice.
I've written a script like that before that is attached to a button I've
placed on a html page but how would I control the browser's own button?

Yes the manual choose page would solve this problem. We originally had the
site set up that way. But then we got a bunch of nasty comments from
people who did not have flash resenting the fact that there was a flash
version. And not liking the fact that they were stopped at the first page
and had to make a choice before entering and being reminded that someone
else might be getting a better version of the site. Sounds silly I know.
But believe it, it solved a lot of headaches putting that auto direct
script in. People without the plugin just get directed straight to a non
flash page. People with flash appreciate it. Except for the back button
of course.
