Subject: RE: FLASH: OT: Colour-Dreamweaver to P/Shop

John,

I've just started having the same problem with Dreamweaver 3. Even when I pull up the graphic to check the colour it is always registering the correct web safe colour - but it still doesn't completely blend within most browsers. The way I've dealt with this is make that colour transparent if you using gif's - as for jpg's - I haven't had to deal too much with those yet.

I've noticed when using the dropper tool to choose colours (usually from
places other than the little pallette that pops up) the colour it chooses is
not usually correct. it is often slightly off colour.

I'm wondering if DW and Flash are locking to the Standard Web Swatch
Palette, or maybe the routines are buggy. I've noticed this problem to be
worse on a mac (the mac I used anyway :)

Maybe I am just imagining it, but I'm pretty sure something isn't right.

Cheers,
