Flash has a basic scripting language. I would recommend going to
www.flashlite.net and looking up the syntax for the various commands.

Hello,
I want to create an animation in Flash whereby the exact configuration of
lines that compose the animation are determined by user input. There are
too many permutations to can the animations
and just go to a particular frame to play that canned animation. I need to
imbed some intelligence into the app to tell Flash to put a particular line
at a particular location based on user choice. I can
do this with Director since it has a language behind it but how do I use
intelligence in Flash?
