Yes, it is definitely a version problem, the first couple of flash projects I
did using flash 4, my friends couldn't hear the sounds. (Netscape 4.7 comes with
a flash plugin, but it won't play sounds properly) Get the latest plugin, (in
fact maybe you could put up a entry portal that asks them to get the latest
plugin, put sound in the entry portal flash as well and you should have it beat)
