The easiest way is to select the text on the screen and hit F8 :) You can

also choose new symbol either from the "edit" menu or from the library menu

(press the arrow in the upper right corner). With either of these other

options you will need to paste the text into symbol editing mode and also

delete and recopy the symbol from the library (to make sure it's the symbol

version and that the original used on stage).
