Yes, you do it in the Sound dialog box (under frame properties). Notice
the two rather small gray rectangles bounding the sound wave. You can drag
them around to clip the sound. Only the included portion will be exported
with the .swf, so you save file size this way. Notice also that in this
window you can change the ruler from time (seconds) to frames, and can zoom
in and out to see more or less of the sound wave.
