IT certainly can... you can do it either with cookies or a database and some
middleware (PHP/ASP/CF/etc) on the server.
If the users don't have to log in any other way, I would recommend cookies.
You can find more info about FScommands and usings Javascript with flash
(which is what will be needed for the cookies) at
www.moock.org/webdesign/flash

You can get more info on middleware with flash at www.flashlite.net

Subject: FLASH: Drag-Drop-Save-Leave-Return

Afternoon, evening (maybe morning) to all,

Could someone please help. My client wants a flash site with drag and drop
objects - much like the snowman of recent postings. When the person has
customised his objects he then clicks OK and is then directed to another
URL. However, my problem lies in that when the user returns to the site the
dragable objects must be in the same position as he left them.

If you can imagine the person customises the layout of the page as he wants
it (much like the utilities in Flash where individuals lay out their
library, timeline, scene controller etc.) By clicking on the link to the
next URL (which is being done by another firm) the layout is saved. Can this
be done.

Thanks for any help.
