how can I command the main timeline of my project from a button who's situated in a MC

I would like to know how I can command the main timeline of my project from a button who's situated in a MC on the main  timeline.(I would like to jump to scene 2 when the button is released...)

I understand how i can send commands from one MC to another MC  but not  from one MC to my main timeline.

Could someone please explane me how to do this
