Why do you say the middle class is cultureless?

(does poverty or aristocracy insure more culture?)


Importantly: why do you assume cultureless is bad?


Why is it pathetic for rich children to dance? In a particular style?

It sounds as if you would rather all cultures remain in their own little

boxes.

Is not the whole history of "culture", the history of recombination and

assimilation?


And...the site wasn't that bad. Though heavy, and hard to navigate (though

no more so than ten thousand others). This issues this site has are

functional not cultural.


It is my opinion that this diatribe is not about culture, whatsoever, but

rather about "style." And it is fairly common knowledge that any style can

be used to sell anything. Only ideas can be independent of commerce, never

images.
