Subject: FW: POP-UPS! what to do? [was] Re: Test popup with NS6-C ontinued

It just gets weirder...Stripping out the HTML didn't help, so I thought I'd
try writing the script as a function in the HTML page and just call the
function from Flash. This seemed to cure the back button problem I mentioned
in the last post. But also the old style button with the javascript written
in the getURL also now seemed to be working correctly (i had them both in
the same SWF). Curious, I added *just* this line in the head tag of your
original HTML page:

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"></SCRIPT>

And then it worked, no back button 'bug' or warnings of javascript errors :)
I think it might be worth getting someone else to test this IE 5.5 'bug'
just in case it was a quirk of my configuration, although it doesn't look
like it. Maybe IE 5.5 needs a 'warning' it's likely to be having to deal
with some javascript? I dunno, I'm not a JS expert at all.

'fraid I don't have NS6 so I don't know if this extra line might upset it.
