unable to select multiple frames

Hi, I am having trouble selecting (and editing) multiple frames in F5.


I have tried using F4 timeline and F5 timeline settings and I cannot 

select multiple keyframes on the timeline, either in one layer or in 

multiple layers.


Has anyone else had trouble with this?


(G4 mac OS 9  Flash 5)
