There are tutorials I am using to creat a mini scoll area - window,
non-draggable (for my purposes, although you can add that later) and
it scrolls graphics or a list of buttons. The text scroller is cool, but
I need to scroll buttons, for further access to other features all in the same
window- lots of tell target.
Part of the tutorial is on Flashzone.com, and the other half is in
Flashkit.com which elaborates on the former. So far I've had success with them.
For the first half on Flashzone.com, it is right on the first page. For the
other half that further elaborates on the tutorial on Flashzone, you'll find
it in Flashkit.com. If you put keywords like scroll, button, and other relevant
words in the search, it will pull it up among a selection, I believe in the
actionscripting tutorials. You'll be able to tell you found it when it mentions
in the header text that it will build upon the tutorial in Flashzone.com.
Something like "-learn how to build a scroll window with buttons..." [sic]
