But you knew that already, but this can never be emphasized too much.


I learned the hard way but thankfully it was only a learning experience and

a failed exam grade in college. Our professor had us work all class period

on a small computer project and toward the end of class he left the room and

threw the circuit breaker cutting all power to the computers. He turned the

power back on, came back into the room and said 'save your work to floppy

and put it on my desk'. The only ones that passed this exam were the ones

that backed up their work.


Talk about feeling like a schmuck. It taught me well though.
