Making web site want to use MC's - need a bit of help please

Hi Everyone,


In light of the discussion of using movie clips in the creation of an entire we site, I have a question,  I am also attempting a first

web site in Flash.  I  have a .swf for each main link and call them up with a load movie action. This is working.  Where I am hitting

my head on the wall is using MCs.  I am able to call them up using a tell target.  I am calling them into the lower 2/3ds of my stage

so as to keep the upper area clear for logo, sub  links etc.  I find that they pile up and I can see through them.  I tried putting a

solid fill underneath each mc, but then I could only see the top one.  I tried putting a fill in a frame on the main time line and

using a go to an play before the tell target, but that did not work - in fact it seemed to cancel out the tell target.  Is there a way

to unload one movie clip when you target another?  I will appreciate any help you can give me.


I posted a plea for help on the Newbies list too, and hope that is not bad netiquette.  I feel too "new" to be posting here, but this

thread seemed to be addressing a problem I am having. Monica
