Flash doesn't have a native file browser so you'll need some form of
middleware script to accomplish the task. Your upload button in flash will
have to open a pop-up window to your script where the upload takes place.
You can do this quite easily with PHP but if you should try using Perl test
things really well on nutscrape to avoid a content type octal error.
Hope this helps,

Subject: [flasher] Flash Form, input type file
Dear fellow flashers,
I need to create a form in flash with a field of type "file" to allow users
to enter the path to the local file to be uploaded.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all for this great forum.
Manuel
