Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. But as John so correctly stated it,

you can't resize those things and make them look good. We have instead

decided to make the software area (where the screens are) a separate window

that comes up when a module is selected.

Screen captures are *extremely* resolution-dependent... much more so than

photographs or captured imagery. And in turn SWF is a purely

resolution-independent format. That's why you have to exercise such great

care to not resize at all.
