<fumes of frusteration>
The site I'm currently developing must be compatable with both Netscape
and IE 4.x, Mac and Win95. The cross-platform bugs are annoying, but I'm
solving most of the cross-browser incompatabilities by using a "Dynamic
Element" object similar to the one found in David Flanagan's "JavaScript:
Definitive Guide".
A problem...
I have found that IE 4.x for Windows95 has a Cascading Style Sheet limit
of 31 -- it crashes with 32 or more. Does anyone know why? Am I right in
my observation, or is another factor at play?
This is extremely frusterating for me, as my entire approach to
portability has been the use of <STYLE> tags to dynamically
position/reposition <DIV> objects.
Help!
