hiya Liz,

Using BMP trace for detailed images like I believe someone suggested
with normally increase the swf size than lower it
and animated much more horribly than BMP images..
I havent found too many great uses for BMP trace yet.

1. Keep your imported images as small as possible when exporting from graphics
proggy.
(especially when you plan to animate them in Flash).
2.Try importing BMP as 8 bit and try setting to "lossless" in FLash. Compare
lossless
size with regular export size(sometimes lossless isnt always the best way).
3. Always try to add more vector than imported images. For portfolios this is
always
impossible.

In Lizzzz's case, images seem to be small enough and animate fine on my low end
system.
Text pop in and out a little too fast to read however on sub-menus.
Also Liz, you might kill the active state of the selected link. IE, if I
select portfolio and it animates the "portfolio"
button is still active. Unneccessary.

Good luck,
