hi Robby,

Your server may have been down awhile, but I just got onto your site on my

second attempted visit.


Your animation skills are impressive, and your palette choices are beautiful.


The walk seems too slow on my P166MMX, and decreasing the browser window

size doesn't increase the speed, which tells me you could probably increase

the frame rate by 30% or so without leaving too many viewers in the dust.

Your background and foreground images all seem well-optimized (minimum of

vertices and curves). Test movie with view>bandwidth profiler enabled to

see how it streams, just to get an idea of where any bandwidth bottlenecks

are.  Also I'd use an If Frame Is Loaded condition (see tutorial on

FlashCentral) to hold the animation at frame 1 until a bit more of it has

loaded -- not necessarily the entire animation, just enough so that when

streaming it will keep up with the animation.  As it is, it begins

haltingly (on a 56k modem connection).  Holding it back a few seconds might

eliminate this, as more of the movie will be loaded.
