Hi Carlos...

I might miss this a little, but I believe I'm correct. In Director there
are "Network Extras" that allow a Director Executable to "reach out" over
the internet, etc. and go to pages, send email, etc.

In Flash, however, I do not believe it is possible to have a "stand alone"
access anything via the web--meaning, if it's an .exe, you're not going to
be able to call a web site. If you view in a browser, it will make the
attempt to go to the different URL.

Hi,

I'm a beginner with Flash and I have a question:
I'm making a stand-alone project and I want the user to be able to visit
others pages (like Macromedias page). I've tried to use "get URL" but it
didn't work. When I generate the ".exe" and click on the button I don't
access the page I want.

What am I doing wrong?
