Hello friends,
I'm wondering if anyone else has had an opportunity to check out the new Beta version of the shockwave player for Solaris/ Linux machines. I was able to test in on a Sun and it worked just fine...faster in fact than running it locally on my PC. How weird is that?
Anyway, your feedback would greatly be appreciated. I am collecting information from various sources (as many as possible) to feed that info back to Macromedia to help this process along.
For those of you interested in checking this out let me know and I will e-mail you an attachment with the README.TXT file attached that describes in detail what to do with the file once it us been "gunzipped".
This is a major break through for us as developers I think. Pretty soon EVERYONE will be able to view our stuff.
