This is what I did.  It's so simple that I kick myself for not thinking

this up sooner.


I took a qtvr, of this powerbook. Rotated it by hand in small increments,

snapshoted each view that I wanted.


Photoshoped 'em just to crop.


I wound up with 45 views. (pics).


Brough them into flash one by one.  All on their own frame, but no

tweening, Jay.


Holy cow, only 120k.  Dang, I love Flash's graphics compression.


Set up the buttons & tell targets.


voila!  A faux QTVR.


You guys need to get into this, because there's a lot of money in it; net

shopping has become big, in case you haven't heard.  We'll change every

shopping site out there.


Where the talent comes into play, is in as a director, deciding on the

product at hand, and how to best rotate it, considering *important

information* vs. filesize.


If any of you get your act together on this, webstaffing.net might be able

to give you some work.


I'm sure not going to do it all myself, as I have my farm to run.  In fact,

I'm late now for patrol of the fences, with my big-bad MagLight and my Blue

Heeler at my side.
