FLASH: Motion

recently someone inquired about the starfield effect and how to begin

generating one,

i am interested in knowing how this type effect was done also...was it

increasing it layer by layer?and suppose i wanted to cause a pattern to

"shimy" as in a 70'S paisley effect? I would appreciate any advice anyone can

offer me on these two topics!

Also have any of you read FLASH 3  Creative Web Animation by Darrel Plant??

For any other "newbies" out there i strongly recomend this book and if any of

you could recomend more "in detail" flash books i could use some suggestions.
