This work is inspired by the artist's observations of life in tidal

rockpools

and the various survival strategies evolved by its colonists. The online

site

is an interpretation of nature's minutiae, singularities and iterations

against the universality of events. The rockpool serves as two

metaphors,

the first is for evolutionary space - the gene pool, the second as a

psychographic space populated by creatures which symbolise a fear and

fascination with the vicissitudes of life.
