Subject: Re: FLASH: OT: registry woes

...and that message got sent before i was finished with it. the
question is, can someone talk me through the procedure to replace the
current (old) registry with the newer (broken) one, one step at a time,
so i can get back functionality without toasting my system? i don't
know where to start..
