Make two separate layers for the object you want in front and in back copy
the motion guide to both. Then about half way through have it switch to the
2nd (the one that goes behind) instance of the object. Make sure the 2nd
instance is on a layer under the object your rotating around and the first
one is on a layer above.

Im trying to make one object revolve around another,
but how do I get the revolving object to appear behind
the and in front of the object during a revolution?
I'm trying to mimic a solar system.
