try to isolate the problem. can you publish the sound without the graphics?
If not, it could be a wav file format incompatibility. Make sure you are
importing Windows PCM type wav. It also could be a hardware conflict. Try
to test on another machine. I have a sound card on one machine that is a
high-end digital audio production card, yet Flash constantly freezes if I
try to use long sounds on that machine. If you suspect the sound card, it's
pretty easy and inexpensive (under $20 US) to swap in another sound card as
a test.
