FLASH: Losing Control of MC

Has anyone else encountered this problem....

1st I have movie clip containing alot of labels and call on them in the

first half of the file, everything responds nicely

2nd I have some Action Scripting that moves around the MC's in the main MC

3rd after that has happened, I cant get the MC to respond to label calls

anymore....  according to the "list objects" when testing, it says that it

is moving to the correct label, but there is no movement on the screen....
