Well, it's not that I'm already finished with my learning but here is
what I did with my site. I made a base and gave the action in the
first frame to load an movie (navigation) into level_0 and the intro
into level_1. Every other movie that loads from my "home" loads in
level_0 and level_1 (level_0 is always the navigation and level_1
always the other movies. That way I can always go back to where I
came from. The base.swf is just the background and is published with
an html page. All other movies load into this base.
An other option is using mc as scenes but this is somthing you can
find at www.flashbible.com and there are also good tutorials on www.
virtual-fx.net/tutorials.htm or a very long list is
http://w3.to/thelinkz
There will be tutorials about loading movies etc.
