Subject: | FLASH: button question |

Hi all,
I have a quick button question: Is there any way to get a button to stay in its "rollover" state until it is released by an outside event? In other words, I want to treat the button as a movie clip--control which frame it is in from outside (while at the same time using it as a button).
Possible? I think I can do a workaround involving two identical symbols, designating one a button and one a clip, but that just seems so...clumsy.
Thanks,
Andy Hartzell
