FLASH: Question on Variables in a Movie clip??

Hello Fellow Flashers


I have a question I seem to having a brain fart and can't seem to be able 

to get this to work


i have multiples of variables that are pulling from a Text. But to keep 

the file size down i would like to add

a movie clip with variables. But what seems to happen is the variable 

don't seem to show up in the movie

clip. But it works in the _level10 area on the scene.


When i output a log i can see that the movie clip isn't pulling the data 

from the Text file.


Movie Clip: Frame=33 Target="_level10/tran"

        Edit Text: Variable="Q4" Text=""

        Edit Text: Variable="Q3" Text=""

        Edit Text: Variable="Q2" Text=""

        Edit Text: Variable="Q1" Text=""

What code or what can I do to get this to work in a movie clip????
