RE: FLASH: Loading movie..

Hi Roopa,


Go to the frame you want to load the movie.  Go to your actions palate.

Click Load/Unload Movie.  Then select how you want the movie to be loaded

(in your case Load into location).  Then where it says URL: put in the path

of where the movie is located.  Then choose a level you want it to load into

(the main control movie is on level 0, you almost never want to load a movie

here).  You can load it into anywhere from 1-16000.  Then click ok.


Here is what the basic action would look like.


Load Movie (nameofyoumovie.swf,1)


This is assuming your movies and WebPages are in the same folder and you

want to load it into level one.  You can also use the telltarget command

with levels to control different movies.


I'm getting ready to work on a levels tutorial if you want you can email me

off list and I'll let you know when I finish it.
