FLASH: fading sound

hello, 

i have a flash movie with a looping soundtrack and would like to make it fade out on a button click...


i have figured out ways to do this by skipping to a fading version of same sound clip but this method often creates a 'skip' in the sound....is there some kind of command that will fade the sound out as it plays?
