Subject: | FLASH: Need Tips on Navigation |

Thanks to everbody on my previous posting about SWF viewing problem. The
problem was on the HTML coding (i had
given by mistake different directories for the "embed" and "obeject" tags,
that was the reason why IE was showing and
Netscape wasn't.
Anyway i need some tips about a site i'm designing. The main navigation
will be controlled by 8 buttons which will
direct movies on a TV-like screen, my problem is (it's not a problem in fact
but...). When you press 1
of the 8 buttons subtitles will apppear and when you click on the subtitles
.from there a movie will scroll on the tv-like screen.
My difficulty is there will be about 20-30 subtitles each of which will play
a movie. I'm going to put all of the 40 movies on
the 1st frame and by actionscript i'm making the visibilities of the clips
false. But i've put 5-10 of the clips already and
on Flash i've difficuly on selecting them when working on them. Please dont
tell me that put all movies on different layers and
change visibility/lock rest of the layers because i spend more time on
selecting/turning visibilities of the layers than design.
i've thought of 'load movie'command but then the user would have to wait for
each of the movie to load.
Any tips, ideas on alternative/better ways are welcome & thanks in advance.
I hope i was able to express myself clearly because english isn't my
primary language :)
