Hiya
I have a question for all you Flash experts and I hope that someone
can help us out!!
We've been doing some simple work in Flash in which sound files
accompany linear animation. But we've noticed that with many sound
files, we're getting strange distortions.
The sound files are lowered in pitch and slowed down so they sound
completely different from what we expect. We've tried making them in
.aiff format from Sound Edit and in .wav format in Sound Forge and it
doesn't seem to matter - whether we make the sounds on the mac or PC,
they get slowed down and lowered.
We've also tried playing with the sound settings in flash but again
it doesn't seem to make a difference -- whether the sound is synched
as Event or Stream, it plays at approximately half the expected speed.
Has anyone else had any similar experiences? Are there any
suggestions or helpful hints?
Thanks very much in advance,
Vlad
