Correct with the first assumption.
The second, I tend to use Flash Jugglor (www.flashjester.com) with JTools to
handle the email side of things for CD presentations. It's great you can get
it to open any file as well i.e if you need to open a word file, just create
a button and point t the word file and when the user clicks on your button
the word file is opened, the word file can be included in the final .exe
file.
Also it supports printing, so you can add print buttons to your screens and
have it print the whole screen or a section which you define (JPrintor
required).
All you supply to the user is a single .exe file.
And no I don't work for Flash Jester team, just a great product set.
