FLASH: Flash Variables and Indirect Calls

Hi All,



I'm just starting (today) to get into using variables with Flash

files and have a question. It's probably pretty basic but...


Using http://www.server.com/test.swf?fred=barney

works great.


But I can't work out how to send the variable to the SWF from

within the HTML page.


eg  If I call http://www.server.com/test.htm?fred=barney

      that has test.swf on it.
