RE: FLASH: Can a screensaver call a MC?

Macs are a bit out of my domain in realtion to screensaver development, but

I thought I might give you my feedback anyway.


Firstly, all the screensavers I have done (actually i have only done one)

were authored in director using elements that were built in flash. So my

director cast was full of little flash animation or whatever and the actual

interface was built in director. So all interactivity was handles by

director not flash.


Rollovers were never used as moving the mouse is the base way many people

turn the screensaver off. But for basic interactivity I used the arrow keys.

(Just to fill you in on the project: the screensaver was for a film festival

and you could scroll through different weeks of the festival).


For making the screensaver, Screenweaver was used. WHich impoerts the

director movie and makes a screensaver file out of that.

I need to put a Flash screen saver on a suite of macs.

Such that "on rollover" it calls a movieclip.

The mc is a menu (of departments) with "geturl" buttons.

Can this call, be made to work in a screensaver?


Which mac 3rd party application would be best for the exe. to screen saver

conversion?
