Well it looks like I spoke too soon, but thanks for the reply!  :)  Our

coder got it to work.


Seems that when the buttons and MC themselves are placed directly within

M-Ball, it works just fine.  We just couldn't get it to work with the

buttons and MC in a separate symbol that was then placed inside M-Ball.  But

it does work now.  :)

Without seeing the FLA, I would think its a tell target problem...

you are probably referencing the MC incorrectly...

We've been playing around with your swing script for awhile now and are

having troubles getting an internal mc to play.


Say the ball within M-ball contains Symbol X - such that you see symbol X

swinging when played.  Symbol X is made up of 2 layers.  On one layer you

have buttons.  On the other layer you have an MC that plays different

portions depending on which of the buttons is triggered by a mouse over.

Why is it that when played, the mouse over won't play the MC within symbol

X?  Yet, when you take symbol X all by itself, stick it in the movie, the

mouseovers work fine?


In other words, the mouseovers play just fine except when they are placed

inside M-ball.  The swf can be seen at www.clanpi.com/newpi2/navtest.swf.


Any help pointing us in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
