FLASH: Flash:Flash vs Director

I am looking to use Director more and more and rely less on flash for more complex animations as it is limiting....and although I have a good knowledge of flash I would need to convince my company of my competence at using and learning Director before they would buy....my question is this I have browsed the web breifly and am finding it very hard to find tutorial sites for director 7 I would appreciate if anybody could direct me towards any good sites for learning Director from scratch....most seem to fail to give good easy to understand lessons
