I'm in the same boat as you. I know Flash well, but we may start moving

towards CD ROM based presentations, and Director is the tool. I just

finished reading Director 7 Demystified (yes, I read all 1184 pages!) and I

learned a lot from that. If you are learning from scratch I would definitely

recommend it. There are also some great sites out there that can help speed

up the learning process:

Director definitely has a steeper learning curve than Flash, but I've found

that knowing Flash helps me more easily understand the basics of Director,

which is a start :-)
