Subject: Re: Subject: FLASH: A teacher wonders why ActionScript tutorials "bite"

Yes!, and i'm not whining :o) I am in a situation where no, i am not a
programmer, but a quick learner and have fumbled my way through some CF and
lots of scripting necessities with relative success. What I am looking for
(and have made requests, to no avail, on this list before - for a book which
will help me understand the syntax and
let me get going with the action scripting. Thing is that it is a powerful
part of flash, and though I may be able to use the rest of the program, I
feel limited
by my lack of understanding in this department. I am unfortunately an
English speaker living in Germany, so browsing book stores, and course
material are basically
out of my grasp. I am forced to order books online and don't want to waste
my money on something that is full of information I already know. Is there
anything out there with a strong focus on the actionscripting? I understand
what it is, what it does, now I need some resource that will help me
understand writing it.
Suggestions?

thanks,
Krista
