Anna,
Yes, it took me some time to get it to work but finally I did. See if the
following helps you. The reason my Wacom ArtZ II went wacko in the first
place, was an upgrade to OS 9.0. To get my tablet to work again I had to
install Wacom's driver version 2.6.5B1 (yes, it's a beta release but works
fine). I am on a G3, so I had to attach a 'Keyspan USB to serial port
adapter' to handle Wacom's port, making sure the port was active by setting
Wacom's driver to 'Printer Port USB.'
Next, I started FreeHand did some lines with the mouse - not the pen - and
then, I tried the pen. To my surprise, the pen seemed to be stuck on one
tool, the line if I recall correctly, and I couldn't get it to work
normally. Well, to make a long story short, I rebooted the machine, did NOT
touch the mouse and this time the tools on FreeHand worked fine. I had this
problem once again, but now I knew what to do. I have not being able to
replicate the problem though, but this is a bug with this driver - mouse and
pen don't seem to like each other all the time - definitely.
The Wacom ArtZ II settings are.
Serial Port
Scaling Setup
Method: normal
Orientation: Landscape
Scale Tablet: Portion of Tablet
To display: Entire Display
Aspect: Proportional
I hope it helps.
