RE: FLASH: Preloader (URGENT!!!!!)

this is the simplest way I've found,

someone on the list here suggested it, I tried it and it works great.


frame one

load and play the preloaded movie, make a background symbol in the

preloaded so it is not see through

frame two

place all large movies, any large BMPs you are concerned with that will

slow down the streaming, on the stage in the main movie, not the preloaded,

frame three

delete all these movies and BMPs from the stage

frame four

unload the preloaded movie

frame five

is the first frame of your real movie.


works for me anyway.  you can see it work on our site:

you will see as many white dots and works appear as it lakes to

load it on your machine, then it automatically cuts to the main

movie as soon as it is loaded.
