Page Maker can export any publication as a pdf file
I'm not sure about InDesign but once it is from Adobe too, it probably can
export pdf.
there is also a pdf plugin for Microsoft Word at Adobe web site
but to read the pdf file,
you need Acrobat Reader, but it is free at Adobe web site
